Last weekend at Clay Circle, which is the proper name for Sara’s studio, we experimented with resist techniques. That’s right: on ponies!
And other slabs, too.
We tried wax, shellac, and latex. Here is Sara showing us the business.
I loved the shellac. It’s great for working with bone dry clay, which is important, because Choreo is drying out, page by page. Now it’s a race.
This is a fence, a graphic organizer, a system of all of the important numbers governing the years J & I have navigated together.
And here we are, notice now I am truly blonde, at least for a little while.
